UV-X™ 1000 - Leading illumination system for corneal cross-linking
Since the introduction in 2006 UV-X™ 1000 has become the leading illumination system for corneal cross-linking. It was developed by a specialized team in collaboration with the inventors of the procedure, Prof. Theo Seiler and Prof. Eberhard Spoerl. The UV-X™ 1000 was designed with a special focus on both safety and effectivity, embodying extensive scientific knowledge in the field of corneal cross-linking.
Key features of the UV-X™ 1000
- Patented design for homogeneity of illumination
- Tolerance towards treatment distance
- Minimization of radiation at the retina
- Precompensation of corneal curvature
